A Houston Native, Marcus spent much of his youth traveling which led to a deep love of food and wine culture. After curetting Houston’s first Champagne-focused wine list in Houston at Cha, Marcus took a position working under Charles Clark at Ibiza Food & Wine bar. Marcus procured Ibiza’s first award-winning wine list and was able to further understand and focus on the inspiring relationship between wine and food.

The Bergstrom Family has made wine that is an integral part of the Willamette Valley. Inspired by Burgundy, Josh Bergstrom has been able to make cool climate Pinot Noir that stands on its own on an international level. Their family has created sustainable and biodynamic farmed wines that show great depth and character. Bergstrom winery might be one of the most important wineries in the North West.

"What sets Oregon apart is that we have the authenticity and uniqueness of a cool climate, but the wines are friendly...I grew up drinking Burgundy and I studied there. I aspire for my wines to like theirs. I want them to have a sense of place, delicious concentration, but now more than ever I want them to have that freshness of velvet." -- Josh Bergstrom, Wine Maker
