Brennan's of Houston Rings in Spring with "Brunch with the Bunny" and Easter Sunday Celebrations

WHAT:

On Friday, March 25 from 9:30 a.m. – 1:30 p.m., Brennan’s of Houston hosts its annual Brunch with the Bunny, featuring a festive meal for adults ($45*)—including a mimosa—and children ($30*). Guests can take family photos with the Easter Bunny while enjoying Texas Creole classics such as Breaux Bridge Crawfish Enchilada and Shrimp & Grits, served alongside kid-friendly fare like Fried Chicken & Waffles and Carrot Cake Pancakes & Eggs. To finish, families can hop through the “Bunny Trail” dessert bar, and play with real rabbits, as Brennan’s of Houston will bring live bunnies to the patio.
On Sunday, March 27, from 10:00 a.m. – 4:30 p.m., the restaurant will offer its iconic Easter brunch, including a three-course prix-fixe meal ($56*) created by Executive Chef Danny Trace. Alongside mainstays such as Shrimp and Grits and Eggs Brennan, Chef Trace showcases crawfish season with dishes such as:

  • Breaux Bridge Crawfish Enchilada – chayote pico de gallo, jalapeño cheese, mezcal crema, and roasted tomatillo salsa
  • Atchafalaya Crawfish Omelet – Louisiana crawfish and Andouille sausage stuffed over Brabant potatoes with charred tomato choron sauce
  • Each guest will receive a lagniappe of Crawfish Boil Deviled Egg

Additional menu highlights include:

  • Applewood Bacon Wrapped Rainbow Trout | pecan wood smoked over Lyonnaise potatoes with sunny side up egg, and charred lemon chimol sauce
  • Oak Wood Grilled Filet Mignon | Harris Ranch beef, sweet potato and salsify gratin, farmer's vegetables, and honey peppercorn glaze
  • Whiskey Lacquered Hill Country Quail | blue crab and cornbread stuffing, bacon braised red cabbage, sunny side up quail egg, and Bulleit bourbon lacquer

Bar Chef Richard Middleton has crafted an exclusive beverage for Easter brunch called The Cottontail Cocktail ($11) made with Reyka Premium Icelandic Vodka, Solerno Blood Orange Liqueur, Blood Orange Ginger Marmalade Syrup, and topped with Brut Champagne.
