Wine Event

The Wine Guy Team at Brennan's of Houston partnered with our friends to bring you an Aligoté Party! We will be pouring delicious Aligoté from Burgundy's top producers. Come celebrate with us!

Aligote is Burgundy’s second white wine. It is delicious and is being cultivated with focus and precision. In other words the hottest bang for your buck coming out of France that should be in your glass! 

This year the first symposium of Aligote “Les Aligoteurs” was held in Burgundy with 51 producers to celebrate the grape. Brennan’s of Houston and classified wines would like to invite you to a tasting in celebration of that!


What Happened in France?

On April 23, 2018, 51 producers met in Burgundy at the Les Aligoteurs Symposium in Burgundy to discuss and celebrate the great grape of Aligote. This is the first of its kind.

The name is « Les Aligoteurs », contraction of two words « aligoté » and « authors », and refers to the reptile, the alligator which will be our symbol!
