Date Night Cooking Class: September 2015

Date Night is one of our most popular events. Demonstrations will include hors d'oeuvres and three-course meal with matching wines. This summer, our cooking class series is "Where I'm From" and inspired from Chef Danny Trace. We'll get to know chef a bit more as guest will travel though a culinary adventure of chef's adventures.

Reception Wine:
Smoked Duck & Collard Green Gumbo
Jalapeno cornbread croutons, Hoppin John rice and crushed Sassafrass

Sorghum Lacquered Yellowfin Tuna
Fire roasted Southern vegetables, King Trumpet mushrooms, shrimp boil peanuts and Blue crab broth

Louisiana Apple Parfait
Creole apple fritters, Calvados Ice cream, cane syrup caramel and Homestead Pecan granola
