Meaning “awakening” in French, Réveillon is a beloved New Orleans tradition dating back to the 1800s when Creole families gathered after midnight mass to share a joyful, abundant Christmas feast. Réveillon is never just a meal. It’s a celebration of family, faith, and hospitality.

This year’s Réveillon menu is especially meaningful. It’s the very menu we created to celebrate Miss  Ella Brennan’s 100th birthday — a tribute and expression of gratitude to the woman who defined New Orleans' and Brennan’s hospitality for decades. 

Two of the courses honor the culinary stars who left unforgettable marks on our family’s kitchens. Legendary chef Paul Prudhomme’s iconic Blackened Redfish and Emeril Lagasse’s inspired Steak Diane are symbols of Brennan’s enduring culinary excellence.

And for a sweet finale, we offer one of the most beloved creations to ever come out of our kitchen—Ella’s legendary bread pudding soufflé. This iconic dessert was first unveiled at a celebrated New Orleans culinary event and later hailed by critics as “the queen of Creole desserts.”
